Having lived experiences with mental illness, Ryan Golt is a mental health advocate and entrepreneur dedicated to addressing some of the biggest mental health problems that we’re facing today.
Ryan leverages his lived experiences, as well as his recent Master’s degrees from Harvard and McGill University to inform his work and bring meaningful and measurable change to the mental health system. Ryan’s research focuses on developing and evaluating programs surrounding mental health resilience and decreasing stigma in young adults and adolescents.
As the founder of WellMTL, Ryan's passion and motivation is to help people overcome the social and financial barriers associated with taking care of their mental health.
Chief Marketing Officer
Sabine is an undergraduate student in honours Chemistry Co-Op with minors in Multidisciplinary Studies in Science and Art History at Concordia University. One of the founding member of the Concordia University chapter for Stronger Than Stigma, Sabine has been an active executive of the team in every role from treasurer to part-time graphic designer. She follows in her roles as part of WellMTL and strives to better access and literacy about metal health at Concordia and further still.
Rebecca is an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology and minoring in behavioural Science at McGill University. She is passionate about de-stigmatizing the talk around mental health and strongly believes that by sharing our stories - whether it be our struggles or our successes, we are showing others who may be facing their own battles, that they are not alone and that there is a way forward. She looks forward to reading and sharing your stories on the blog!
Chief Operating Officer
Jillian is a senior undergraduate student in honours Psychology (behavioural neuroscience) with a minor in Multidisciplinary Studies in Science at Concordia University. Working with a passionate team of university students at McGill and Concordia University, Jillian aims to increase student wellness on campus, promote mental health awareness and literacy, and facilitate student involvement in Stronger than Stigma and WellMTL's various workshops.
