Coping strategies and survival guides for anyone who needs
Coping through Covid is a 45-minute workshop that looks to validate people's feelings facing the pandemic, and equip them with strategies to cope. The Coping workshop looks at how the pandemic has affected mental health and mental illness, offers a self care survival guide, and activities from active listening to meditation.
The workshop consists of three key components:
(a) validating attendees in their struggles caused by the pandemic,
(b) decreasing stigma through exposure to a presenter with lived experience,
(c) teaching practical coping strategies to help cultivate self-care
These three elements make this a unique and effective workshop for everyone.
